Bonjour!

My name is Eloïse and I would love to share my passion of Cooking, Wine, Movies and French language with you!

I have been living in London for 10 years and I still enjoy the vibrant city and all it has to offer. I have been teaching French to adults of all levels in different environments - corporate, college, international school and private home. I have always tried to adapt my teaching to the learners' needs and to use different materials and methods.


After years of on-going training and practice in the classroom, I have realised that one of the most efficient ways to learn a language is what we call 'activity-based learning' where the primary focus is the hands-on activity and language is the instrument through which the student completes it. Hence, the opportunity to learn French while you cook, study cinema or taste delicious French wines.


I started running these classes in August 2010 in my home in Blackheath, and participants have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I created The Frenchy Cook in response to feedback and requests from my French learners.
